Lake of Charity Anniversary

In the years of its existence, the legendary Lake Of Charity has rightly chosen itself to be one of the most renowned and casual charity events in Austria.

This milestone of the 10th anniversary is an event with emotional depth for all volunteers and of course for all visitors and should be celebrated appropriately. In order to really celebrate this anniversary, the 10th edition of Lake Of Charity will take place in summer 2022.


The small charitable stone, which was thrown into the emerald green water of the storage pond at the Westgipfel in Hinterglemm in 2011 from a spontaneous idea of three friends, has now spread widely in the fun sport scene after eight years and throws high waves of helpfulness for a good cause. So far, a total of € 420,000 has been handed over to needy families and children in Pinzgau from the events.


Also a good cause for Mother Nature:
The Lake of Charity is a “Green Event”, which means that sustainability is a priority in all aspects!
